Typical Paper Charts:
Most charts are thin, 10 pages or so, and patients often have long intervals between visits.
Some charts, such as those of patients with bladder cancer, are thick. |
 |
Put PCARCHIVER to use:
Scan records of patients not seen for 3 years. Remove and shred old records, following state guidelines. If the patient returns, print all or part of the old record and make a new active chart.
Condense thick charts by scanning and shredding older portions of the record. Scanned records can easily be shared between multiple offices. Scanning records provides backup and eliminates paper storage costs and retrieval. |
