Typical Paper Charts:
Patients in primary care are either in active care or have left the practice. All patient charts tend to be thick, especially those of older persons with chronic diseases.
Patients who have not been seen for 2 years may never be seen again in the practice. |

Put PCARCHIVER to use:
Scan records of inactive or deceased patients, and remove old records from the office. A barcode version is available to partition charts.
Condense thick charts by scanning older portions and discarding them. If patient returns, print all or part of the old record and make a new active chart. |
