Typical Paper Charts:

Charts of actively-followed patients are thick.

Many patients come only for tests. Their charts are thin, and may not be needed again for years.

Put PCARCHIVER to use:

Scan records of patients not seen for 3 years. A barcode version is available to partition charts. Remove and shred old records, following state guidelines. If the patient returns, print all or part of the old record and make a new active chart.

Condense thick charts by scanning and shredding older portions of the record. Scanned records can easily be shared between multiple offices. Scanning records provides backup and eliminates paper storage costs and retrieval.
